Investigations into separate incidents see two local residents in some hot water. On April 10, OPP conducted a traffic stop in connection with a bail violation call. As a result, a 33 year-old Horton resident is facing a charge of operation of a vehicle while prohibited. Two days later, on April 12, an officer conducting another bail violation investigation charged a 20-year-old Renfrew resident with fail to comply with a release order. Both have court dates in June.
