The Upper Ottawa Valley OPP has charged a Pembroke resident after a break-in at a home in Laurentian Valley Township.
Police say the incident happened around 6:30 am on Monday (April 13th). The OPP says the investigation revealed that vehicles and the residence on Greenwood Road had been entered. Officers patrolled the area and arrested the suspect.
The OPP has charged 28-year-old Jamie Wallace of Pembroke with break and enter to commit an indictable offence, mischief under $5,000, theft under $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 and failure to comply with a probation order.
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Pembroke courthouse on June 23rd.
