The death toll at long-term care homes in Lanark County continues to climb. At least 36 residents at Country Haven in Almonte have tested positive for COVID-19 with two additional deaths bringing the total to 16. In Carleton Place, COVID-19 has claimed the lives of two residents at a long-term care home with another 29 residents and 19 staff members testing positive. A long-term care home in Perth is also reporting a death along with 27 residents and 7 staff members testing positive for the novel coronavirus.
