An Arnprior resident is facing charges following an investigation into an accident on March 31. Carleton Place OPP and Lanark County paramedics were called to Derry Side Road in Beckwith Township regarding a single vehicle accident around 5pm. The 55 year old driver was charged with failure to provide a breath sample and was released on a promise to appear. They’re due in court in June. Police report no injuries, however the driver’s vehicle was impounded for seven days and their license suspended for 90 days.
