There’s been another drug bust in the Renfrew area; what appeared to be a hand gun was also involved.
Officers say members of the Renfrew OPP Detachment and the East Region Community Street Crime Unit stopped a car on Stewart Street in Renfrew just before 2PM Wednesday.
Police seized an imitation handgun and quantities of suspected Purple Fentanyl and Crystal Meth.
Two area residents and a man from Ottawa face related charges.
Colin Stacey Michael Campbell, age 30 of Ottawa was remanded in custody pending a video appearance April 16th in Renfrew.
He’s charged with possession of an imitation weapon for a dangerous purpose, possession of methamphetamines, and possession of opiods for trafficking purposes.
His companions, 23 year-old John Herbert of Admaston-Bromley and 30 year-old Robert Daniel Cloutier of Horton face identical counts- while Herbert also faces a charge of possession of property obtained by crime.
The local residents were released on promise to appear in Renfrew, June 17th.
