Twittersphere is alive with stories on how local schools are coping with the return to class- albeit online.
Monday, kids began logging on to Board resources at the kitchen table under the eye of mom and/or dad- but those opportunities were limited to those who had the hardware at home.
As of today, the Renfrew County District School Board’s IT Department is making loaner laptops available for learners who do not have this home resource.
Lisa Blokland, a teacher at Walter Zadow Public School says IT has done herculean work in getting things up and running on short notice.
She says the switchover to an electronic delivery of education is a learning experience for students- but also for their teachers.
