The Greater Area Chamber of Commerce provided an opportunity for members to share their frustrations with present COVID-19 constraints and consider strategies for recovery when the appropriate time comes.
The ZOOM meeting was hosted by Catherine Fair of Rhapsody Strategies in Ottawa, and lasted over 80 minutes beginning at 10AM (Monday).
A lot of ground was covered, focusing participants’ concentration on items within their circle of concern and their spheres of influence.
Fair likened the emergency to being on the GTA subway when the train stops unexpectedly in a tunnel.
The Rhapsody Strategies consultant says it may be important to use SKYPE or ZOOM to network with your peers or just to re-charge by linking with those of like-mind.
She encouraged participants to think back to the days when their operation was a start-up and act accordingly; it may be important to change your products and services, and/or revise your business plan or strategic plan.
