Three residents from the Ottawa Valley are facing drug charges. On Friday afternoon (April 3rd), the Upper Ottawa Valley OPP stopped to investigate a parked vehicle in the 300 block of Pembroke Street East. Police spotted drugs in the vehicle and arrested three people at the scene.
As a result of the investigation 37-year-old Joshua Harrington of Laurentian Valley was charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, and failure to comply with probation.
36-year-old Andrew Brunette of Bonnechere Valley has been charged with possession of cocaine and hydromorphone.
Also charged is 35-year-old Alisha Lemaire of Whitewater Region with possession of oxycodone for the purpose of trafficking and failure to comply with probation.
All three accused were released from custody with a court date scheduled June 9th in Pembroke.
