Four local residents are facing impaired driving related charges following three separate incidents last month. On March 25, OPP were called to Stone Road in Admaston Bromley Township for a ditched vehicle, with a possible impaired driver. Following their investigation they charged a 23 year old Horton Township resident with operating a vehicle with over 80mg and failure to comply with a probation order. Also on March 25, Renfrew OPP responded to a weapons complaint on Bluff Point Rd in Greater Madawaska Township. They’ve since charged a 68 year old township resident with operation of a vehicle with over 80mg. And then on March 28, a traffic complaint involving two vehicles brought police to Lisgar Avenue in Renfrew. The drivers were pulled over and as a result of their investigation, police have charged two residents, a 43 year old and a 25 year old, with impaired driving and operating a vehicle with over 80mg. All drivers have pending court dates in June.
