The Renfrew County District Health Unit has confirmed a second case of COVID-19 in the area. Health officials say a woman in her 30’s was tested back on March 27th after developing mild symptoms. She was tested at home by Renfrew County paramedics. The individual had recently travelled to London, England and arrived back in Canada on March 18th. She is currently in isolation at home and is being monitored. Earlier today, the health unit stated that the first patient with COVID-19, a woman in her 90’s had passed away at the Pembroke Regional Hospital.
