Renfrew County’s Paramedic and EMS Chief Mike Nolan has taken to social media to see who locally has medical supplies they can contribute to our local inventory.
Nolan says response has been great- including the offer of a 3D printer so stuff can be made locally.
The EMS Chief says many of the key components to combat COVID are manufactured in China and materials are in short supply.
In some cases our capacity could be exhausted within weeks- in other instances the inventory can only last a matter of days.
Nolan says he’s like to know what he can source locally, and what materials will have to be ordered in.
