Anyone returning home from an international trip is reminded to self-isolate for at least 14 days. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau made an announcement this morning (Tuesday, March 24th) saying they have more scheduled flights from around the world to bring Canadians home.
Trudeau says in the last week a million Canadians have returned from abroad.
The Prime Minister says this is the biggest health crisis our country has ever seen. Trudeau adds essential employees are still going into work and we need to do our part to keep them safe. Opposition parties are expected to support an $82-billion emergency bill that will be introduced in Parliament today. The package includes funds to fight the COVID-19 pandemic, help businesses and workers across the country.
