The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit has arrested two Pembroke residents they say were involved in a robbery at a Stittsville pharmacy Wednesday night.
According to officers a man entered the Main Street premises about 945PM, advising that he was armed and demanding drugs.
He made his getaway in a vehicle driven by a female companion, but the pair were arrested before they could join the 417 at March Road.
Narcotics, other drugs and a weapon were found on the suspects and inside the vehicle.
40 year-old Chad LAFRENIÈRE of Pembroke, was charged with Armed robbery, Disguise with intent, Possession of a weapon, Conspiracy to commit an indictable offence and Carrying a concealed weapon.
His companion, Crystal TURCOTTE, 38 years old, of Pembroke, was charged with Armed robbery, Conspiracy to commit an indictable offence, and Failure to comply with a probation order.
The man also faces two additional counts stemming from a robbery on Carp Road on March 7th.
The pair are scheduled (were scheduled) for a court appearance today (Thursday).
