The union representing English Catholic teachers in Ontario has reached a tentative deal meaning no more planned strikes. The Ontario English Catholic Teachers Association (OECTA) says they’ve reached a tentative agreement with the government. Details of the new collective agreement remain confidential pending ratification. Catholic teachers will take part in a province wide vote on April 7th and 8th and effective immediately all OECTA strike action has been suspended.
