The Renfrew Victoria Hospital Foundation has awarded the customary big cheque to Catch the Ace big winner Mike Addlington.
The presentation ceremony happened at the RVH cafeteria atrium this afternoon, along with a cake-cutting.
The cake was super appropriate- today (Thursday) was also Addlington’s birthday.
He has no immediate plans for the windfall, other than perhaps an extended vacation with his young son.
Addlington vividly remembers purchasing eight tickets the Monday before the winning draw.
The big winner says he may buy additional tickets in any subsequent RVH Catch-the-Ace lottery- but then again, he may leave the jackpot for somebody else.
