This week is the second annual Thank a Volunteer week with the Ontario Minor Hockey Association.
The association has posted videos and profiles of volunteers from all over Ontario on their website.
Their goal is to spread awareness about the 30 thousand volunteers who have helped already, and to encourage new volunteers as well.
Director of Business Development, Matt Rhodes says that OMHA volunteers can play a vital role in community development.
Most volunteers with the OMHA are coaches and people that help with time keeping, training, fundraising and more.
Rhodes says there could be more weeks like this to come, having annual celebration for volunteers across the province.
