The Ottawa Valley has Catch the Ace fever and with over a million dollars on the line, tickets are going fast. Local businesses are having difficulty keeping up with demand, so some of them are now staffed with volunteers to manage sales during their busy times. Donna Rush sells tickets at Finnigan’s every day during lunch and dinner. Then on Thursday’s she’s in from 10am until 8:15, selling tickets, she says it gets pretty hectic.
We asked her how many tickets she sells on any given Thursday.
On average though, she says most people hand her a twenty and usually buy four tickets. The draw is 8:30 tonight at Finnigan’s. The progressive jackpot could easily reach 1.5 million dollars, making someone an instant millionaire. You can get your tickets from Donna until 15 minutes before the draw.
