Two events are happening to support the Butterfly Approach, which helps improve the quality of life for residents with dementia. One of the biggest costs of implementing the Butterfly Approach will be the renovations required to reduce a current dementia unit size into two smaller more home-like households.
Miramichi Lodge is holding a fundraiser on April 2nd from 5pm – 8pm.
Bonnechere Manor is also holding an event from 5 to 8pm on April 1st in Rotary Hall.
Fundraising events will include a champagne reception, refreshments from Ullrich’s on Main, a silent auction, swag bags and more.
Motivational Speaker Darci Lang will also be speaking at the events, with copies of her new book “Living the 90 percent, nine ways to be happier”.
Tickets for the fundraiser are $75 at Eventbrite.ca in support of the Butterfly Approach in Renfrew County.
