The Town of Arnprior is in the process of getting ready to tender for its big infrastructure project for 2020-2021.
Engineering Officer Ryan Wall says for the next two construction seasons, work moves to the southwest quadrant of the community.
Wall says because the work is only tendered once, there will be price stability over the two construction seasons.
He says year one work is estimated at $865 000; year two, $860 000.
Monday, the Engineering Officer asked Town Council to pre-commit to the funds to give administration a leg up on getting the best possible price.
The next step involving Council will be the awarding of the tender for the job.
