A benefit on Friday night proved to be a major boost for two local families impacted by a head-on collision on Highway 17 on January 30th. According to one of the organizers, Steve Osipenko, hundreds came out to the Horton Community Centre to support Nathan Plunkett, Jacob Schuler and their families.
Dominos in Renfrew raised $10,000 locally through a one-time special order, but Dominos Canada matched that total. Between the benefit on Friday and the Gofundme page currently open, over $60,000 has been raised, which will be split between both families.
