Police are on the hunt for the man who held up a store in Laurentian Valley last night (Sunday). Upper Ottawa Valley OPP say around 8 o’clock, a masked man entered the Bruham Food Mart on Bruham Avenue, brandished an “edged weapon” to the clerk and demanded money. The suspect fled the store on foot after receiving a quantity of cash. The clerk was not injured. The OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) and the Canine Unit were called in but couldn’t find the robber. The suspect is described as male, 5’10” to 6’1″ tall, wearing a grey coat, grey hoodie, black face mask and blue jeans.
