Mother Nature is bringing school transportation to a grinding halt. A blanket of snow covers the Valley this morning with more on the way. As a result, all school transportation for both the public and Catholic boards as well as French speaking schools in Renfrew County is cancelled. Schools remain open. In the meantime, periods of snow continue today, 2 to 4cm expected and with winds gusting up to 40km per hour, visibility could diminish quickly. County and municipal crews are working to clear roadways, but you’re reminded to use caution while drive according to the changing weather and road conditions. Temperatures will be dropping to -11 this afternoon. Skies are expected to clear up tonight.
