You can share the love this month by supporting Valley Animal Rescue through Empties for Paws. Since the beginning of Empties for Paws in January 2015, more than $400,000 has been raised by rescues and shelters across Canada. The program was founded in Renfrew and it all started with a bottle drive for Valley Animal Rescue in Renfrew. Now there are over 85 bottle drives listed on their website. Donita Konyk with Valley Animal Rescue says the money raised is always put to good use.
