Provincial police are again warning about a telephone tax scam being run by people
purporting to come from the Canada Revenue Agency.
The scam involves telling recipients they face immediate arrest
for outstanding payments, something the agency says it would never
do.
Although not a new con, police note the calls coincide with tax
season.
If you receive such a call, police advise to hang up immediately.
