After the holiday break, many local students can expect time off this coming Wednesday, as rotating strike action by members of the Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation (OSSTF/FEESO) resumes.
The action impacts members of the Renfrew County District School Board represented by the OSSTF and involves a one-day, full withdrawal of services.
As well, elementary and secondary students at L’Equinox in Pembroke will be impacted by Wednesday’s Strike. Their school board is the Conseil scolaire des écoles publiques de l’Est de l’Ontario.
Elementary and secondary students at Jeanne Lajoie in Pembroke are also impacted by the one-day walkout.
Their school board is the Conseil des écoles catholiques du Centre-Est.
The walkout by OSSTF members is schduled for one-day only, Wednesday January 8th.
The limited withdrawal of services, which began on November 26, 2019, will continue across Ontario.
