Renfrew County will have a new Warden today. The election of the Warden is set to take place this morning (Tuesday) at the county council meeting at 10:00 am. Bonnechere Valley Mayor Jennifer Murphy has held the role for the past three years, guiding the county through two major floods, a tornado, the announcement of the 4-laning of Highway 17 from Arnprior to Renfrew and much more. Running for the Warden seat in 2020 is Laurentian Valley Reeve Debbie Robinson and McNab/Braeside Mayor Tom Peckett.
