Renfrew OPP laid impaired driving related charges in two separate incidents only a day apart. On November 22, officers received a traffic complaint on Daniel Street South in Arnprior, and following their investigation, they charged a 40 year old Ottawa driver with impaired driving and driving with over 80mg of alcohol. They have a court date December 18. The following day, officers stopped a vehicle on Fraser Road in Horton Township as part of their RIDE program. A Greater Madawaska Township resident was charged with similar charges of impaired driving and driving with over 80mg. The 60 year old will answer to the charge in court on December 4.
