Police have charged a Pembroke man with child luring, possession of child pornography and sending sexually explicit material to a child after an investigation that began last month. The Upper Ottawa Valley OPP says it was notified about someone who had contacted a young person who had placed an online ad for employment purposes. Police say the communication was sexual in nature and an investigation was launched to identify the suspect. Then on Wednesday last week, police executed a search warrant at a home in Pembroke, and seized computer devices. 31 year old Tyler James Haskett is charged in connection with the case. He’ll appear in court December 10th.
