A group of six local municipalities working on a shared services plan now has a seventh member.
McNab-Braeside Mayor Tom Peckett says the group now consists of Admaston-Bromley, Greater Madawaska, Renfrew, Horton, Whitewater Region, his township and the Town of Arnprior.
Peckett says Arnprior came aboard after the October 28th County get-together at the Eagle’s Nest in Eganville.
Arnprior Council ratified the Town’s participation at the municipal meeting Monday (November 25th)
The McNab-Braeside Mayor believes the dialogue will lead to long-term savings, but we shouldn’t expect an overnight fix.
