With snow in the forecast tonight and tomorrow morning, it’s time to transition from summer driving to winter and the OPP would like to share a few tips with you to ensure you reach your destination safely. OPP Constable Shawn Peever says road safety is in your control.
Peever says it’s important to clear your car of snow and ice, including your windshield, side mirrors and lights so other drivers can see you in adverse weather conditions. Ensure your wiper fluid is topped up, install winter tires and keep a roadside kit with blankets, water and a first aid kit in case of emergencies.
