Those flashing speed indicator signs are the bling of municipal traffic control, and Renfrew is getting its own.
Development and Works Director for the Town, Mike Asselin says they’ll be used in problem areas.
Asselin says the speed indicator sign doesn’t just blink at you and go on to the next vehicle, it monitors traffic flow and records data for later analysis.
The Development and Works Director says the speed indicator sign’s purchase set the Town back about $5,500.
