Another major boost for the County of Renfrew Public Access Defibrillator Program. Recently the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 72 in Pembroke donated $4,700 to purchase a new defibrillator for the county paramedic services loaner program. Paramedic Chief Mike Nolan says it’s great to see organizations jumping on board.
Nolan says over the past year three out of five times a defibrillator has saved someone’s life right here in Renfrew County. Nolan says anyone heading to the hunt camp who thinks it might be a good idea to have a defibrillator on hand can contact his office to ask about the loaner program.
