Ten international in Renfrew County on exchange program

The Renfrew County District School Board has welcomed 10 international students to local schools this year. Director of Education Pino Buffone says they have students from France, Italy, Japan and Norway spending a semester here. Buffone says it’s a big change for many of these students.

The Director of Education says they’re starting an exchange program with l’Académie Clermont-Ferrand in France. Buffone says they will be welcoming international students for the first exchange sometime this month and in the spring, students from Renfrew County will have the opportunity to study in France for a semester.
