With the Federal Election on the horizon, many local leaders are waiting to see what the newly elected government will bring to the table for their municipalities. Renfrew Mayor Don Eady is hopeful recently received funding will continue moving forward.
Eady adds he hopes whoever forms the new government will take a serious look at what he calls a Canadian problem.
The local mayor says for whoever wins the election, it’s paramount the lines of communication remain open and accessible.
He’d also like to see the carbon tax put to good use, keeping our rivers clean of raw sewage.
