After 32-years of working for the township, the Director of Public Works in Bonnechere Valley has announced his retirement. Tuesday afternoon marked the last council meeting for Bill Kennedy who is being replaced by Jason Zohr. Zohr says he’s looking forward to taking on the new role and has spent his whole career working alongside the outgoing Director of Public Works.
Zohr has been working as the deputy director of public works for the past two years. He will take on the role of Public Works Director on a three month interim basis.
