McNab-Braeside Mayor Tom Peckett is in full agreement with the Election Wish List published by the Federation of Canadian Municipalities.
It calls on the feds to double the amount of federal gas tax revenues shared with municipalities.
Peckett says he believes the federal government should become more involved in housing support, as difficulties arise with the costs of both land and labour on the rise.
The Mayor says we have to take all levels of government at their word that internet access is a priority, but they should get a move on it.
Peckett says without proper high speed access, everyday life will become more and more difficult.
