Hydro crews are still working to restore power to many parts of the Ottawa Valley. Around 3:20 pm on Thursday afternoon thousands of residents in Renfrew County were left in the dark. In Pembroke the lights were back on just after 7:00 pm. Hydro One says 10,000 people in Killaloe, Golden Lake, Eganville, Cobden, Beachburg, Westmeath, Haley Station to the outskirts of Renfrew remain without power. An estimated restoration time at the time of this post was 10:00 pm with some areas still being reassessed. The cause of the outage remains under investigation. Follow updates from Hydro One here.
