The Village of Cobden isn’t going to win any picturesque community awards, according to Ted Barron, and other longtime Cobden residents who went before Whitewater region Council Wednesday to share their concerns.
The operator of Barron Insurance and Realty, who has spent 45 years with the Civitan Club, headed a delegation to Township Council outlining seven area of concern focusing on a deteriorated main street and a municipal tourist park no one can use.
The Cobden businessman’s presentation came as Whitewater Region Council is about to begin its 2020 Budget discussions.
