A 29 year old Pembroke man is facing charges in connection with a break and enter at a jewellery store. Upper Ottawa Valley OPP officers responded to the store in the east end of Pembroke around 9:30 pm on September 27th. The suspect was believed to have fled before police arrived. After gathering evidence from the scene, police shortly after arrested and charged Justin Stirling Guindon with break, enter and commit an indictable offence. The investigation is continuing and a quantity of jewellery, including gold chains and gold crosses, remains outstanding in this case. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Pembroke Detachment of the Upper Ottawa Valley OPP. Police say further charges are pending against the accused after a search warrant was executed in Pembroke in relation to the crime.
