The Jason Blaine charity fund has given a major boost to the United Way’s After The Flood campaign. On Friday, Algonquin College hosted a spaghetti lunch to raise money for the United Way East Ontario fall campaign. In addition, Jamie Bramburger who is a committee member for the Jason Blaine charity organization presented a $20,000 cheque for the After The Flood campaign. Bramburger says he knows the money will be put to good use.
The United Way is meeting with a number of local service agencies to come up with a plan for how to distribute the money. The After The Flood campaign has raised roughly $35,000 to date.
