The day has finally come for a local comedian to take the spotlight in the SiriusXM Top Comic Finale. Arnprior’s own Nigel Grinstead was able to crack the top 10 in the contest for a chance to win the grand prize of $25,000 and a guaranteed spot on the Just for Laughs roster. Grinstead says he’s well prepared.
The two runners-up will each receive a cash prize of $2,500 in addition to performances in 2020 at JFL42, JFL NorthWest and Just For Laughs Montreal. Tonight’s finale will be held at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Toronto.
