It may be hard to keep the excitement up given the red tape involved, but Calabogie Motorsports Park wants to go to the next level.
Brian Whitehead of JP2G Consultants has been working with the Park for the best portion of a decade on a plan to make Calabogie Motorsports Park a full resort with accommodations and other amenities.
Renfrew County Planner Bruce Howarth made a presentation to Greater Madawaska Council at the Township’s September 16th meeting, urging it to endorse Official Plan Amendment 17 which would allow the application to proceed.
The file then goes back to County and off to the Province for approval, before returning to the Township for a Zoning Bylaw and Site Plan Control approval.
