The Tim Hortons on Stewart Street in Renfrew is gutted. The local franchise is getting an overhaul but the store is still open for business. Regional Manager, Richard Dean, says they have a tight timeline for the work and hope to be back to full service soon.
Dean says they have a mobile trailer at the back of the parking lot with many of your daily favourites. However, Dean says there are some limitations and they don’t have everything in their temporary location. The franchise renovates their stores every ten years, and Renfrew’s store is about four years behind schedule. Wendy’s lobby is included in the remodel, and their drive-thru remains open as well. He’s grateful for the community’s patience and understanding while the work is underway.
