Officials aren’t releasing much information about an incident in Arnprior this week. There was a large police presence in the neighbourhood around Frieday Street Wednesday night and last night; a listener tells us police were going door to door looking to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident. Renfrew OPP have released a statement to say that they are investigating an incident but won’t be releasing any information to protect the victim. Witnesses reporting seeing one person taken away in an ambulance. While it’s not confirmed what this incident involved, police will usually withhold names and details when an incident is of a domestic nature or when children are involved.
