The Township of Whitewater Region has issued an emergency road closure due to a beaver dam break. The municipality says a washout has occurred which will require the replacement of a culvert. Acres Road from Mineview Road to Olmstead-Jeffrey Lake Road is closed until further notice. At this point in time there is no estimated time as to when the road will be re-opened. Drivers are asked to avoid the area until repairs have taken place.
