One man is dead after a serious car crash near Carleton Place. The Lanark County OPP is investigating the fatal collision that took place on Highway 7 near Dwyer Hill Road. Police responded to a single vehicle roll over on Saturday (August 17th) around 11:30am. Both occupants were transported to hospital. The female suffered non-life threatening injuries and the male succumbed to his injuries in hospital the following day. An investigation is ongoing and the name of the deceased is not being released pending notification of next of kin. Highway 7 remained closed until about 7:00pm while the investigation was underway.
