A man charged with multiple counts of sexual assault dating back to the 1980’s will return to court in October. Stanley McBride Junior has pleaded guilty to six counts of sexual assault, two counts of attempted sexual assault and three counts of administering a noxious substance involving 11 teen boys. The incidents took place at a seasonal property in South Algonquin Township near Barry’s Bay. McBride currently resides in the Peterborough area. According to the Peterborough Examiner back in June a bench warrant was issued after McBride failed to return to court to enter into a plea deal. He will return to the Pembroke courthouse on October 23rd for sentencing. The 75-year-old alleged sex offender remains out on bail.
