Deep River resident Reuben Marini is a Professional Engineer with 38 years experience, including working in the Nuclear Industry at AECL.
Marini runs an enterprise offering prototype equipment for small business, and grew up on a family farm in his native Italy.
He was acclaimed as the Federal Liberal candidate at a nomination meeting July 25th.
Marini believes his background qualifies him for the role of serving as the area’s Member of Parliament.
The Liberal nominee fears Renfrew-Nipissing-Pembroke is missing out on rightful opportunities with its present representation.
Marini’s name will appear on the October 21st ballot along with incumbent Conservative Cheryl Gallant, David Ainsworth of the PPC, Green candidate Ian Pineau, and Independent Dan Criger.
The NDP will make its decision between two contenders at a meeting in September.
