Killaloe OPP say that of nineteen reported motor vehicle collisions last week, three were animal related.
Detachment officers attended two accidents, both happening the afternoon of Monday July 29th.
At about 2:18PM police responded to a two vehicle collision involving two passenger cars on Schutt Road in Brudenell, Lyndoch and Raglan Township.
A 48 year old Washago woman was charged with Following Too Closely, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
There were no reported injuries and no tow required.
The defendant was issued a Provincial Offences Act notice.
Later that afternoon (at approximately 4: 45 p.m) officers responded to a single vehicle collision involving a passenger car on Highway 60, in South Algonquin Township.
Police say the passenger car lost control and veered off into the ditch.
A 34 year-old Peterborough man was charged with Careless Driving contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
He sustained minor injuries and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
The man was issued a Provincial Offences Act notice.
