Renfrew-Nipissing-Pembroke Independent candidate Dan Criger believes he can work his lack of paritsan affiliation to the advantage of the people of our riding.
The Petawawa resident, who hails from a military family background, is out with his platform- the first candidate to do so in advance of the October 21st Federal Election.
Criger is anticipating a minority government, and believes whichever party forms it will have to work to earn the support of smaller party and non-affiliated voices to remain in office.
He says he can play the arithmetic to win gains for the people of Renfrew-Nipissing-Pembroke.
Jobs and the Cost of Living are important priorities for the Independent voice.
Criger is taking a strong stance against what he sees as the problem of illegal immigration.
He doesn’t think jumping a queue should see migrants rewarded with room service in a comfrotable hotel- nor be given free health care, while many Canadians have no family doctor.
While he is stressing the important role an independent voice can play, Criger lost the PPC nomination for Renfrew-Nipissing-Pembroke to Renfrew’s David Ainsworth May 25th in Cobden.
The other candidates are incumbent Conservative Cheryl Gallant, and Liberal Reuben Marini.
The NDP will have a contested nomination in September.
